He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Marty Drewes; his parents, David and Katherine; and his siblings, Betty, Edwin, Gordon, David, Henry, Joyce, Minna and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Drewes, Larry Plett (Linda), Darrell Plett (Marian) and Lorraine LeBel (Gord); his grandchildren, Karla Nash (Daniel), Melissa Ellen (Ryan), Natalie Plett, Jacob Plett, Annette Cartwright (Chris), Jeromy Drewes, Trevor Plett (Kaleena), Thomas Plett, Josh Plett and Daniel LeBel; his siblings, Ken (Katie) and Cathy (Bob); and his wife Mabel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
