He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacDonald and Lorna MacDonald; his brother Alan; his sister-in-law Charlotte; and his nephew Tim.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Lee (Diane), Ariel of Halifax, NS and Kim; his grandsons, Evan and Mitchell; and also Mike of Quispamsis, NB. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
