He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Anderson and Henrietta Anderson; his grandson Connor; and his brothers, Roy, James, Gerald, Bruce, William, Victor, Donald and Harold.

He is survived by: his wife Lis Madsen; his children, Dale (Jane), Jenney (Robin) and Dwain; his grandchildren, Ryan (Mickilli), Arec, Dylan (Alyson), Erin, Dawson and Hannah; his great grandchild Theodore; and his sister Gladys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
