With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Louise Byrt (Edson, Alberta), who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 84. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Byrt; her parents, Albert Hauser and Ethel Hauser; and her brother Don Hauser (Blaine Dickson). She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Byrt, Cindy Zugelder (Richard), Sandra Byrt and Donnie Byrt (Lynise); and her sisters, Marie Moore and Helen Chambers. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51 (5016 5 Ave, Edson, AB T7E1T4).
