We bid farewell to Gladys Mabel (Hellekson) Bowness (Edson, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2024 at the age of 91. Gladys Mabel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard "Bernie"; her son Bruce; her parents, Paul Hellekson and Mabel Hellekson; and her brothers, Glen and Bud.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Bryant (Chris); her grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron, Kyla and Stephen; her daughter Berniece O'Dell (Ken); her grandchildren, Sheena, Rebecca, Damon, Cara and Katherine Roper (Ken); her great grandchildren, Dion, Andrew and Dana; her daughter-in-law Tracey; her grandchildren-in-law, Shay Ann and Colton; her siblings, Shirley Minelli (Leonard) and Melvin Hellekson (Minola); and her sisters-in-law, Lois (Glen) and Donna (Bud). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
