He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Selena Weigel (Tiny) and Ben Weigel; his wife Joan O'Shea; his brother-in-law Lloyd Sloat; his daughter Kelly Rose Weigel; and his sisters, Rose, Sloat, Karen Weigel, Selena Mayer (Allan) and Julie Brendel (Shane). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
