He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Platt and Freda Platt (Lloyd); his wife Paulette Gerard; and his brother Bob Platt (Bonnie). He is survived by: his grandchild Windsor; his children, Chris (Deanna) Platt (Drayton Valley AB) and Heather Aasen (Edson AB); his grandchildren, Chelsea (Ian), Chase Platt and Kristen Aasen; and his siblings, Jerry (Susan) and Catherine Laird. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
