In the sacred silence of farewell, Yuen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Yuen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Yuk Chun (Backey) and Wai Hung (Andy); her spouse Shu Lam; and her mother Yuen. She was also cherished by her three sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home (10011 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5K1R5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Northern Lights Cemetery (15203 Campbell Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6V1H4).
