He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Randall; and his grandson Travis. He is survived by: his children, Karen (John), Wade (Gail) and James (Val); and his daughter-in-law Tracy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
