He was predeceased by: his grandfather William Harold Goltz; his wife Lillian; his parents, August Goltz and Martha Goltz (Zotzman); and his sisters, Hilda, Ruth, Helen, Ann and Susan.

He is survived by: his daughter Christine; his son-in-law Terry Okken; his grandchildren, Emily, Ethan and Noah; his son Ron; his daughter-in-law Lisa; his grandchildren, Adeline and Alexander; and his siblings, Walter Goltz (Mary) and Iris Vaningan.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral will be held for immediate family only on December 12 at McKernan Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's honour to the Mustard Seed in Edmonton.
