He was predeceased by: his daughter Sieglinde; his sister Gertrud; and his parents, Agnes and Andreas. He is survived by: his wife Monique; his children, Carmen (Bill), Daniel (Cristina) and Anandi (Toby); his son-in-law Rick (Susan); his grandchildren, Kerri, Curtis (Ibi), Brad (Krysta), Cameron (Lori), Breanne (Scott), Sarah (Stephan), Andrew (Emily) and Jonathan; and his great grandchildren, Makena, Chayse, Zander, Matthew, Nathan, Christian, Andrew, Avery, Scarlett, Amelia, Jack, Casey, Isla and Lily. He is also survived by his niece, nephew, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Willi's name may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Hematology Research Program.
