He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Prokopchuk and Anne Prokopchuk; and his sister Alice Stepa. He is survived by: his wife Leona (Wawryko); his sons, Don of Edmonton and Jim (Lori) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Daniel (Ellen), Emily (Paul), Hannah (Darren) and Clara; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Caiden and Olivia; his sister Olga Yurkovitch; and also Karry.
He was a dedicated Eskimo and Oiler fan-they had Oilers Season Tickets right until Covid stopped that (kind of ironic).
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Josaphat Cathedral would be greatly appreciated.
