She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwen Willson and Jack Willson; her brother Alan; and her husband Donald Spooner. She is survived by: her children, Linda (John), Rodney and Teri (Eric); her grandchildren, RJ, Matt, Mckenzie and Sydney; and her siblings, Joan, Doreen and Owen.

“Dear Joan, Doreen and Owen, I am so sorry to learn of Wendy's passing. I had wondered why my texts and phone messages were not returned. My condolences and love to you and all the family. Wendy brought my brother Don a lot of joy, despite the difficult days at the end of his life. Joan, I would welcome a chance to talk to you if possible.
