We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 79, Vicki Torrie (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vicki Torrie to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Guranich and Katherine Guranich; her sister Hellen Johnson; and her niece Colleen McGregor. She is survived by: her husband Mac; and her sister Annie Wiebe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vicki's name may be made to the Cross Cancer Clinic, or the charity of one's choice.

“I remember Vicki very fondly. As 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group were deploying troops to Afghanistan, Vicki and Mac, were always at the airhead serving coffee and doughnuts to the departing or returning troops regardless of the time of day. Giving troops a smile and a hug. Vicki was a pillar in the Royal Canadian Legion community and gave countless hours of volunteer time making Edmonton a better place to live. Vicki made a positive influence on many and she will be sadly missed.”
