With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Smook of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; and her son Darrell. She is survived by: her son Vern Smook (Debbie) of Sherwood Park; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Smook of Edmonton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, 2 adopted grandchildren and 3 adopted great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vera's name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, as expressions of sympathy.
