With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velia Parpinel (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on May 14, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Mattiussi and Caterina Mattiussi; and her siblings, Alviso, Giovanni, Pietro, Lucillo, Lietto and Clelia.
She is survived by: her husband Gioacchino "Jack"; her children, Sandra Parpinel McIntosh (Donald) and Gary Parpinel (Danielle); and her grandchildren, Ashley, Matteo, Devin, Ava and Sophia.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
