With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Ann Napier (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Greig and John Palmquist. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Alan, Maureen Ross (Tom) and Deborah Schwarz (Paul); and her grandchildren, Scott, Johnathan Schwarz, Emma, Liam and Samuel Ross.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mel Miller Hospice in care of Covenant Health, Edmonton General Hospital, where she spent her final months surrounded by love, dedicated and compassionate care, and peace.
