He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Rannie and Alice Rannie; his sister Suzanne; his brother-in-law Walter Kochanowski; and his son-in-law Wade Bozak.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Rannie; his children, Brenda Bozak, Brian Rannie, David Rannie (Cheryl) and Cathryn Reynolds (Glenn); his grandchildren, Aaron Bochon (Char), Dustin Fraser (Carmen), Michael Rannie (Holly), Christine Fraser (Gen), Karyn Huxley (Cameron) and Jordyn Bochon (Tim); his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Hayden, Quinn and Olivia; and his sisters, Mary-Jo Pearson (Grant), Nellie McNeely (Kevin) and Alyce Olson (Neil).

Due to the current pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
