Theresa Kennedy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Kennedy of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Long and Laura Long; her brother Ken Long; her brother-in-law Howard Kennedy; and her parents-in-law, Russel and Adelia Kennedy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her daughter Laureen; her siblings, Betty Kennedy, Walter Long, Phyllis LaChance, Eunice Fritsma (Wim), Maureen Colistro (John), Chuck Long (Maria), Dolores Scott (Ken) and Bob Long (Maureen); and also, Joyce Allen (Earl), Marlene Glebe (Neil), Jack Kennedy and Larry Kennedy (Donna).
A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Dominic Savio Parish (14406 62 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5A2E9). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 6A2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St Vincent de Paul, All Saints' Conference, St Dominic Savio Church (envelops available at the services), e-transfer to [email protected] or donate online at https://ssvp.ca.
