Sophia Fialka Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2024, Sophia Fialka (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bohdan; her parents, Ilya Kowalsky and Anna Kowalsky; and her siblings, Stefania Kachan, Maria Bunzaliak and Volodymyr Kowalsky.

She is survived by: her children, Lesia Huk (William), Christine Fialka-Eshenko (John Eshenko), Bohdan Jr. (Lynda) of Calgary and Orest (Anna); her grandchildren, Orysia (Lee), Andrianna (Sawyer), Stefan, Alexander "Oles" (Pamela), Zoriana (Paul), Lydia and Nicholas "Kolya"; her great grandchildren, Mila, Willa, Emilia, Thea, Nora, Alina and Nikolai; and her nephews, Andrew Kachan of Windsor and Yaroslav Kachan of Warren, Michigan..
