He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Raymond and Mabel; his siblings, Carly and Landy; his nephew Tayden Cardinal; his godson Ralph Large; his aunt Ursula; his uncles, Randy Shirt and Ashley Houle; and his cousins, Edwin, Tyrone Sandfly, Gary Wolfe, Mariah Grandjambe, Zander, Thomas Jackson and Rene Houle.
He is survived by: his children, Kiesten, Simon Jr., Sarah Shirt and Kashiree Bull; his close friend Jaylene Cardinal; the mothers of children, Tannis Cardinal and Tia Rain; his parents, Olga John (Rodney) and Jarrod Houle (Donna); his adoptive mother Sonya Large; his siblings, Paden (Nicole), Claude, Kim John (Allison), Kyle John, Kelly John, Kolby John (Arthur), Keasher John (Jordan), Dayle John, Candice John and Randi Lightning; and his grandparents, Francis and Jenny Houle. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
