With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Mitsu Yuen of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on February 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Esther Hirabayashi (Schmoe) and Gordon Hirabayashi; her brother Jay Hirabayashi; her family, Cairo, Egypt, Beirut and Lebanon; her daughter Shelley (Alisha); her grandchildren, Kinley, Khalil and Xavi; her sister Mari; her friends, Loretta and Ray Lee; her husband Gerry; her daughters, Alisha and Jenny; her sister Marion (Oldenburg); her siblings-in-law, Doug Oldenburg, Barbara Hirabayashi and Margaret Lee Yuen; her friends, Dianne and Ron Ho Lem (family: Ray Lee); and also, Altaaf Ibrahim, Mark Hurley and Amy Stark.
