She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Steve (Joan), Paul (Karen), Murray, Bev (Geoff), Tim (Caroline), Laurel Petrovic (Darcy) and Sean (Ryoko); her grandchildren, Curtis, Lauren, Meagan, Vanessa, Matt, Courtney, Jennifer, Andrew, Gillian, Rachel, Nic, Bron, Carly, Emma and Kai; and her great grandchildren, Felix, Nico, Orrin, Maizie and Talon.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Enjoy Life Church (3935 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6J1M3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruth's honour to a charity of choice.
