She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, John Opryshko and Maria Opryshko; and her siblings, Anne Carrow (Edward), George and Peter.

She is survived by: her children, John, Mark, Paula Gerlach and Matthew; her grandchildren, Spencer (Lindsey), Bethany, Thomas Gerlach, James, Samuel and Benjamin Pesklewis; her sister Olga Fleming (Gordon); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Opryshko, Shirley Park (Geoff), Anne Tyler and Michael Abraniuk (Shirley). She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church (7007 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H3B9).
