We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Roland Rene Meriot (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Villers les Ormes, Centre. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Octave Meriot and Marie Meriot; his daughter Martine (Glwyn); and his siblings, Huguette (Jean), Gerard (Sylviane) and Michel (Bluette).

He is survived by: his wife Josette; his children, Betty and Perry (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Natalie, Ashleigh, Sofia and Sebastien; his sister Odile (Pierre); and his pets, Bear, Cosmo, Domino, Dixie and Harley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Roland's memory may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation (http://www.diabetes.ca) or to the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation (http://www.givetouhf.ca).
