With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Sopiwnyk (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 60. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Sopiwnyk and Connie Sopiwnyk; his brothers, Dwayne and Guy; his wife Cheryl; his children, Matthew (Sydney), Trina (Mike) and Troy (Melissa); his grandchildren, Grady, Cayde, Palmer, Kayla, Brayden, Chanel, Ashlyn and Tray; his parents-in-law, Arlene and Leroy; and his siblings-in-law, Coleen and Butch.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Connelly-McKinley St. Albert (9 Muir Drive Corner of St. Vital Avenue & Highway 2, St. Albert, AB T8N 1G1).
