He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ternovatsky and Linda Ternovatsky; his father-in-law Andrew Moge; and his nephew Owen Moge. He is survived by: his wife Liz Ternovatsky; his children, David Ternovatsky (Stephanie), Melissa MacIver (Andy) and Mark Ternovatsky; his grandsons, Landon, Logan, Callum, Lucas and Shea; his brother Doug Ternovatsky (Donna); his brothers-in-law, Victor Moge (Judy) and Ed Moge (Rebecca); his mother-in-law Zofia Moge; and his nieces and nephews, Leigh, Neil, Nick, Ryan, Hayley, Calvin and Alisa. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honour of Rick Ternovatsky to the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation, which supports both heart & kidney research and care.
