He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm and Franziska. He is survived by: his wife Brigitte; his children, Herb (Elaine), John (Valerie), Catherine and Tony (Erin); his grandchildren, Matthew (Angila), Maegan (Paul), Jessica, Brenna, Nathan and Liam; and his great grandchildren, Madalyn and Quinn.
