It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Violet Rinas (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Thorsby, Alberta, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilie Mielke and Karl Mielke; her husband Robert Rinas; and her siblings, Kate Hartfelder (Adam) and Bernard Mielke (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Barry Rinas (Lorraine), Doug Rinas (Lorraine) and Connie Samycia (Daryl); and her grandchildren, Caris, Aaron, Adam and Alan.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private service will be held on January 21st, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ingrid Doerschel of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
