Phyllis Earla Townsend Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Earla Townsend (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Bruce Townsend (Beth), Brian Townsend (Jan), Cynthia Pharis (Kent) and Barry Townsend (Katie Tennent); her daughter-in-law Debra Townsend; her sister Betty Newbatt; her grandchildren, Emily, Catherine, Sally, Julie, Laurenne, Jonathan, Katryne, Brittiny, Hannah, Matthew and Ian; her siblings, Eunice Hutchison (Savoy) and Keith Newbatt; her former husband Leigh Townsend of Montreal, Quebec.; and her parents, Alfred Newbatt and Earla Newbatt. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
