He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Ellen; his brother Ron; and his grandson Colin. He is survived by: his spouse Pat; his children, Helen, Heather (John), Ian (Lorna) and Norman (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lisa, Laurel, Hayley, Julia (Keith), Lesley, Erica (Kevin), Tara, Aileen and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Alice.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phil's name to a charity of one's choice.
