He was predeceased by: his wife Olga; and his siblings, Lawrence (Nancy) and Sophie Sheehan (Leo). He is survived by: his children, Bob (Laura), Ron (Josie) and Judy Priest; his grandchildren, Keith, Sean, Jesse (Chelsea), Andrew (Trish) and Jennifer; and his sister Lois Mathieson (Nelson).
