Otello Salvatore Pace Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Otello Salvatore Pace on February 6, 2024, at the age of 66.
Otello is survived by his loving family; his wife Michelle Pace; his children, Danielle Pace, Natalie Zaverucka (Jon), Rebecca Young, Chelsey Young and Russell Young; grandchildren, Jackson, Anna Maria, Ryder, Anthony, Charlie, and Hayes; siblings Bruno, Giuseppe, Elisa and Giacomo; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends who he considered family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Maria Pace; sisters, Elena and Rita Pace.
Otello was known for his kindness and generosity. He valued his family above all things. He worked hard all his life primarily as an accomplished Contractor and ran his own business for over 30 years. He enjoyed music, food and loved to tell stories, play cards and travel.
On Thursday, February 15th, 2024, there will be a viewing from 7:00 - 7:30pm with Vigil Prayers starting at 7:45pm, at the Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, AB.
On Friday, February 16th, 2024, there will be a viewing beginning at 1:00pm with Liturgy of the Word starting at 2:00pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home. There will be time for food and fellowship to follow in the Evergreen Reception Centre.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of the Grey Nuns Hospital for their attentive care and kindness in dad's last few months.
In lieu of tributes or flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
