It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Joseph Brassard (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Morinville, Alberta, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adjutor Brassard and Berthe Brassard (Lavigne); and his siblings, Hector, Ralph, Therese Tailleur and Florence Boissonnault.

He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his daughters, Terry Ann Barker (Trevor) and Monique Bachmier (Darin); his granddaughters, Ashlee (Joel), Katie, Makaela, McKenna and Hailey; his sisters, Madelene Desjardin (Lanky), Cecile Busse, Marilda Boissonnault, Rita Kraft and Simone Riopel; his nephew Michael; and his niece Lori (Louise). He is also survived by his family and many friends.
