Brenda Cantelo wrote a sympathy message

“I remember Uncle Norman in so many ways. His natural leadership drew people to him and he was always the first to step up when something needed doing. No matter what it was, he participated with a thoughtful, cheerful spirit. Uncle Norman was fun to be around and his quick wit and natural curiosity about everything made him a ready listener. Never a complainer, it was unexpected to hear of his sudden passing. He will be peacefully fixing things in heaven, notebook in hand.”
