He was predeceased by: his daughters, Barbara Kot and Wendy Hamilton; his granddaughter Danielle; and his siblings, Dorothy Schulte and Alfred Marks.

He is survived by: his granddaughters, Michelle Gowling (Steve), Cherie Keeling (Mike) and Jennifer Kelsey (Troy); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, William, Brielle Gowling, Danielle and Ava Kelsey; his sons-in-law, Garry Kot and Doug Hamilton; and his brothers, Dennis (Alice) and Vern (Iris).
