“Earlier this year Murray and I exchanged several emails for the first time since high school graduation in preparation for our 50th reunion. We recounted a few memorable events, but mostly focused on the connection between our two families of origin. Murray was always warm and uplifting. I regret not seeing him at the reunion in May. I had no sense it was illness that kept him from us. He will be missed by many. Perci McDonald”

I knew Murray since we were in grade two together in Kamloops and throughout our young adult years Murray was one of my closest friends and often my confident. Unfortunately we drifted apart as adults but the few times we met in recent years we shared laughs and great memories along with good friends Martin and Veb.
