He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinert Peterson and Daisy Peterson; his son Bernard Peterson; his sisters, Leslie Hunt and Andrea Nelson; and his parents-in-law, Hector and Blanche Marchand.
He is survived by: his wife Therese Peterson; his children, Keith Peterson and Cheryl Darling (Chad); his grandchildren, Justin Rempel (Bernie), Dalton Mandeville (Chad), Michael Vallée (Cheryl), Emily Vallée (Cheryl) and Anthony Lott-Darling (Cheryl); and his siblings, Denise Kratky, Patrick Peterson and Dave Peterson (Brenda).
