We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2023, at the age of 80, Matilda Gantar (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matilda Gantar to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stan Gantar; and her parents, Jozef Hozjan and Matilda Vucko. She is survived by: her sons, Paul (Ermila), David (Krista) and Thomas (Taryn); her grandchildren, Christian, Grace and Samuel; and her siblings, Slavko and Anna (Frank). She is also survived by many loving relatives, neighbors, and friends.

The family is sincerely grateful to all for their visits, calls and comforting words and prayers for Mom while she was sick with both Alzheimer's and cancer.
