We bid farewell to Mary Illes (Edmonton, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mary find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Illes; her parents, Etelka Hamos and Jozsef Takacs; and her siblings, Terezia and Imre.

She is survived by: her niece Gina (Bela); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kris and Nicole (Connor); and her goddaughter Kathy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Emeric Roman Catholic Church (12960 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5E6J1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
