She is survived by: her daughter Leigh Anne Chisholm; her grandchildren, Evan Chisholm and Melinda Chisholm; and her siblings, Katherine Wilford, Louise Deal, John Wollersheim and Pete Wollersheim.

“I was saddened to hear of Mary Anne's passing. We went to school together in Blackie in grades 4 - 12 and since it was a small school, we got to know each other quite well. In later years we met at a school reunion, once in Edmonton when I was at a library system's meeting, and numerous times online when we shared various jokes. I will pass the news to others who may not have heard. My sympathy goes to her family; remember she was small but she was mighty. Sheila (Raycraft) Macklin”
