He was predeceased by: his grandson Shaughn; and his parents, John L. Starko and Ann Starko. He is survived by: his wife Adele; his children, Grant (Val), Kenton (Caroline) and Leanne Brunelle (Maurice); and his sisters, Susan (Russ Laba), Vivian (James Redmond), Patti (Boris Litwin) and Gina Anderson.
