We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Maria Teresa Schiestel (Edmonton, Alberta). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Louis; her granddaughter Amanda; her sons-in-law, Gary and Wayne; her siblings, Carmella and Americo; and her siblings-in-law, Ilia, Rose Marie and Domenico.

She is survived by: her children, Anna (Bruce), Enzo (Denise), Debbie, Diana (Ed) and Yvette (Donny); her grandchildren, Alix (Jason), Bobbi (Glen), Lisa (Damian), Tobe (Jake), Geoff (Fernando), Lindsay (Mike), Kelsey (Matt), Ryan, Megan (Josh), Scott (Ghislaine), Cody (Shaynia), Courtney (Callum), Nikki (Brandon) and Janine (Austin); her siblings, Mario (Hedy), Giovanni and Anna; and her brother-in-law Ed. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and long time neighbours and friends.

Donations may be made to the Mazankowski Heart Institute in her honour.
