She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jonasina Bjornson and Magnus Bjornson; her sister Betty; her husband Philip Gauzer; her sisters, Ninna Sparks of Edmonton and Shelly Stadnick of Saskatoon; her children, Kim Brochu of Calgary, Alan Hermanson (Margaret Baker) of Winnipeg and Krista Hermanson (Don Bialik) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kristy, Matthew Brochu and Michael Dunham (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Veronica, Penelope and Isabella Dunham; and her nephew Toronto. She was also cherished by the friends and cousins.
