She was predeceased by: her husband George Smith; her parents, James Maitland and Mary Maitland; and her siblings, David, Leona (Earl), Jean (Hubert) and Thomas (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, Kelvin Smith (Nury) and Laurie Smith (Luke); her grandchildren, Akins and Andreina; and her brother-in-law Delmer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
