It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mamie McDonald (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Leross, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce; her daughter Brenda Faye; and her siblings, Frank, Archie, Jean, Daisy, Lil and Pat.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet (Ian Fraser) and Sharon (Duane Chapelsky); her granddaughters, Lee Bennetts (Ben), Jamie Chapelsky and Megan Perrott (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Kayne, Ramsey and Mackenzie; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Arima, Michael Gillespie, Owen Fraser, Ayshea, Allison and Jason Titley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great neighbours and friends.
Given the limitations during the pandemic, we didn't get a chance to celebrate Bruce's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
