She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Smears and Reginald Smears; her siblings, Daniel (Marion), Alec, Ross, Roy (Dorothy), Evelyn and Eileen (Clarence Card); and her nieces and nephews, Keith Smears, Eldred Smears, Howard Card, Glen Smears, Cam Nordin, Linda Gentile and Gail Johnson.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Beverlee Smears and Adele Smears.
