Lloyd David Johnston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd David Johnston (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Johnston and Isabella Johnston; his brother Gordon; and his sister-in-law Carol. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Aaron (Ashley) and Andrew (Sandra); his granddaughter Cecily; his brother Ralph; and his sister-in-law Irene. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, and great-nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Service (5311 91 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E6E2). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Southside Pentecostal Assembly (2821 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6J6B7).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to PAOC Missions, The Canadian Cancer Society, or Alberta Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Or you might consider donating blood to Canadian Blood Services, as Lloyd benefited from this many times over the past months.
