She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Russ and George Russ; her husband Taras "Terry" Strynatka; her sisters, Irene Hrabats and Nina Cloutier; and her aunt Ann Youzwishen (Jack) of Edmonton.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Genier (Allison) of Edmonton, Terence of Victoria and Teresa McLaughlin of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Aidan McLaughlin, Owen McLaughlin of Edmonton, Cara Bjornson, Cyrus Genier, Anisophia Genier of Duncan, BC, Tvrtko of Hamilton, ON and Aurora Solin of Hamilton, ON; her sister Liz Russ of Edmonton; her nieces, Claudette Cloutier of North Vancouver, BC and Michelle Cloutier-Watters of Orleans, ON; and her nephew Curtis Cloutier of Vancouver, BC.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
