She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan and Norton; and her brothers, Palitha and Nalin. She is survived by: her children, Mihiri, Chandra (Barry), Harsha and Susitha (Michael); her grandchildren, Jordan, Elara, Hiru and Kavi; and her siblings, Chito, Anilal, Shirani, Rohan, Sarojini, Ranil, Rohini and Mano.
